Your outline is looking really good. I think your next step should be to try to find some quotes to support your arguments. My favorite argument that you present is the one about false perceptions. I think that On the Road is largely about one’s perception and how it can change. What is really interesting is that I wrote about how we are all inherently sad and you wrote about how we are all inherently selfish and I think that the novel exhibits both very well and that both are complementary to each other. I am really excited to see how your essay is going turn out.
