Comment on Pedro's (Gioia Kelleher)

My first impression of your essay so far is that you have set yourself up very well for a very interesting analysis of On the Road. I concluded that your thesis is “Jack Kerouac’s novel goes beyond describing a journey; instead, through the manipulation of characters and their actions, the author is ultimately able to portray one of the most complex time periods in American history”. I think your thesis is very clear to the reader and gives you a lot of room to dive deep into the many complexities of the novel and Kerouac’s observations of America.
