    I love how, unlike myself, you delve straight into the meat of your essay. I felt it was necessary to provide background information before getting into my central thesis for my paper. However, I believe there are disadvantages and advantages in both approaches. Immediately you draw me in with your ideas of the church, state, and family institutions. As a result, I look forward to reading the rest of your paper. I also feel though that the advantage into presenting the background info beforehand is that your reader understands the concepts and influences that On the Road had. With that information, they are able to further comprehend our thesis’s. Overall though, great job!
