     I think that your introduction is great in relation to its attention to the author’s background and the time period in which the novel is set. I really believe that the description of the movements taking place at the time is necessary in fulfilling the topic’s requirements. Without understanding the idea that the work is heavily influenced by the Beat Generation and the Civil Rights Movement, it would be difficult to grasp the audience’s attention with your paper. You really have written a great paper so far. I’m sure your remaining paragraphs will be just as good!
